- Put
the Mycybernet Highspeed
CD in your CD drive.
- Click
on the Mac Folder Double
click on the "Install EnterNet
300" file. A new window
will open.
- Read
and accept the license agreement.
- Click
"Install".
- A
window will open prompting
for your username (username@mycybernet.net)
and password.
- Click
"Next".
- You
will be asked to restart
your computer. Click "Restart".
- When
your computer restarts,
in the top left corner of
the desktop, you will see
the "Apple Menu" icon. Click
on this icon.
- From
the menu, select "Control
Panels" and then click on
"TCP/IP".
- To
the right of "Connect via:"
select "Enternet".
- Below
is the "Setup" window. Next
to "Configure:" select "Using
PPP server".
- The
following three boxes (IP
Address, Subnet Mask, Router
Address) will become gray
in appearance.
- Under
"Name server addr.:", type
the following numbers, one
below the other.
- Enter
"209.222.63.130" as the
"Primary DNS".
- Enter
"206.186.81.2" as the
"Secondary DNS".
- To
the right you will see the
"Search domains" box. In
this box type "mycybernet.net"
in the same manner as above.
- At
the of the screen, select
the "File" menu and choose
"Quit".
- When
prompted, click "Yes" to
save the changes.
- Open
the "Enternet" folder.
- Double
click on the "Enternet 300"
file.
- Click
"Connect"
Note: A filter
must be added to every telephone
outlet or "jack" of your residence
where a telephone is connected
with the exception of one; Do
not use a filter for the outlet
that the High Speed modem is
connected to.
